
What is the festival lounge at Filmfest Bremen?

Für Akkreditierte und Branchenpublikum steht die Lounge ganztägig zur Vernetzung und als Aufenthaltsort zur Verfügung. Sowohl der Akkreditierungs-Counter als auch zahlreiche Branchenveranstaltungen finden hier ihren Raum: Mit Fach-Panels, Speed-Datings, einem „Frauen im Film“–Tag, Pitchings sowie verschiedenen Empfängen bildet die Lounge den sozialen Treffpunkt des Festivals.
Durchgehend zu den Öffnungszeiten laden wir euch ein zum Netzwerken, Kaffeetrinken, Ausruhen und Arbeiten!

The lounge is open during events in the seminar room. The following applies to all talks and networking events: Registering early secures a place, and there will also be a first come, first serve system on site.

All participants of the 48h short film competition Klappe! but also other filmmakers already in Bremen are invited to get to know each other before we make our way to the Schauburg Bremen to watch the results of the 48-hours competition and to celebrate properly.

Festival pass holders and accredited industry please register at gala@filmfestbremen.com. Tickets are available on the day of the event upon presentation of the festival pass at the festival counter. Admission is only guaranteed if you register in advance.

What are the extra costs involved in producing a film “green”? What alternatives are there? And what support and conditions are there on part of the funding?

From classic 90-minute films to web series, fiction, documentaries and art films – eight filmmakers present their projects in development to us. The prize money of 500 EUR for the best pitch is provided by the Filmbüro Bremen which also invites you to coffee, cake and discussions afterwards. The jury for the best pitch is: Alexandra Tacke (Senator für Kultur), Katharina Wagner (bremedia), Frido Essen (Radio Bremen), Matthias Schuart (TDF-Filmproduktion)
Following the premieres of last year’s scholarship holder teams (CLOSEUP Bremen Screening on Friday, April 22, starting at 4 pm at Theater Bremen/Kleines Haus), the after show party with live music will take place in the lounge from 7 pm.

Male gaze, protected space, intimacy coordinator... How has the perception of sex in film changed? Which possibilities and tools are there for everyone involved to ensure respectful and safe handling when shooting intimate scenes?
